Tweets Collected ()

This chart shows the total number of #CDNPoli tweets collected during the selected period.

Using the Twitter Streaming API, we are currently able to collect ~10-20% of tweets.

There have been tweets collected during the time period.

Tweets/Accounts Now Deleted or Hidden ()

Information in this chart is based on a random sample of tweets (~8-10%) from the selected time period.

This chart shows the percentage of tweets that are now either: (1) deleted by the user, (2) hidden/protected by the user, or (3) because the user’s account was suspended by Twitter. This chart also shows the percentage of accounts that are now either: (1) hidden/protected by the user or (2) because the user’s account was suspended by Twitter.

Use this chart to get a sense of what percentage of tweets and accounts were subsequently deleted/hidden by either the user or Twitter.

Use this information to determine how confident people are and how strongly they feel about a particular topic when sharing on Twitter using #CDNPoli.
